Arranged Perfectly by Bobbi Bullard The process of designing a garment with embroidery. -- I like to think of all machine embroiderers as fiber artists. We use our clothing as canvases and our embroidery designs as paints. As such, the placement of our embroidery designs is important for the success of every project. When I embark on a project, I ask myself, should I place a shower of flowers down the front of my shirt or a line of flamingos across the shoulders? Design placement makes the difference between a masterpiece and a ‘wadder’.

Double Your Fun Reversible Embroidery by Sue Haus When I shop - it’s not necessarily for clothes but just as much for ideas and trends. When a quality “plain” garment fits me and is the right price, I buy it even if I don’t have a plan. My theory is “buy it and the inspiration will come…”So when I found this well-made red and black reversible, double-faced wool jacket, I did not hesitate. Although I loved it plain, I knew it could be “sew” much more!
